Repair Cracked Roof Box
Check for cracked housings on plastic roof vents and broken seams on metal ones.
Repair cracked roof box. Roof boxes are generally made of abs. This would be a pretty good solution but ran the risk of coming apart after a couple of years. Replace them with rubber washered screws. The other method is plastic welding which can be diy with the proper hot air welder or any body shop that has one.
A clean surface is vital as it will. Also look for pulled or missing nails at the base s bottom edge. There s really no fix other than replacing the damaged vents. Wipe the area clean using alcohol wipes.

We lightly sanded down the area of the crack extending 6 8 all around. Cleaning the crack you must first clean the cracked area to ensure that the repair material will bond.
