Replacing Vinyl Siding Panels
Replacing a vinyl siding panel is easy if you do it with a zip tool.
Replacing vinyl siding panels. Be sure to nail into the existing holes on the adjacent siding. The vinyl siding zip tool will save you loads of time. A pry bar will allow you to most efficiently remove nails from the panel being replaced. The zip tool which costs about 5 also makes an easy job of installing the replacement panel.
Take the replacement board fit it in place image 2 and nail it in with a hammer using galvanized nails. Nail straight down on the replacement board in order to hit studs. 15 minute vinyl siding repair with a zip tool. A zip tool or siding removal tool is used to unlock vinyl siding panels from each other.
This inexpensive tool easily unlocks the panel from the one above it allowing you to remove the fasteners and take it down. Slide the zip tool along the bottom edge to release the vinyl siding from the piece below it.
